Great message Chris - with honest at the forefront! This is a great reminder to many (all) of us - no matter what leadership role we hold! Even considering the role as a parent... it's not about us - is it? Being a resource to those around us will come back to us in the form of growth... to then be able to help others. Growth and leadership... I see them hand and hand!❤️

Great article Pastor Chris! I too have struggled with the wrong motivations when it comes to leading the teams I have been charged to lead over the years. By the grace of God, I’ve had tremendous success (definitely still a work in progress though), because through great mentors along the way, I’ve learned you have to love the people you are trying to lead, or they will not follow…and the best way to show people you love them, is to actually love them.
